Janette Chung is a seasoned product leader with extensive experience in fintech and digital payments. Currently, she serves as the Vice President of Product Development at Liven, where she leads the organization’s product development team following Copper’s acquisition. She also acts as a Strategic Advisor for the Verdant Frontiers Fintech Fund, guiding African fintech start-ups on product-market fit, due diligence, and exit strategies.

Previously, Janette was the Chief Product Officer at Copper, where she built the product development team and steered the company through its acquisition. Her prior experience includes leading fintech initiatives at Jobox.ai, which was later acquired by Talus Pay, and serving as the Head of Product for Alipay US at Ant Group, where she collaborated with strategic partners to develop innovative products for the Asian market.

Janette spent nine years at PayPal as the Head of Product for Wallet, overseeing product strategy, roadmap development, and customer experience optimization. Her work at PayPal included managing acquisition integrations and driving customer-driven innovation.
